There is one important thing both Team Plasmas agree on though, and that's how awesome an actress I am and what kinds of gifts to give me. Because they both give the same gift each time.

Gate, leader of the of the Neo Team Plasma, wanted to give great actors a Sub-Tank, but that fell throug because, by being an actor, you already are born with four Sub-Tanks fully formed in your pancreas. It's where the acting gene comes from. Regarding Team Plasma being Corbra, yeah, I sorta forgot that connection. I gave myself twenty lashes for forgetting, and then impaled my severed head on a pike near the castle wall to prevent others from doing the same. All in all, a light punishment.

This is totally stream of consciousness right now. It's what I get for writing the second I wake up.

Anyone know if it's possible to deliver a Pokegen/Pokesav created pokemon to a game such that the player gets it from one of those parcel courier npcs? I'm making a Zorua egg for my cousin as a Christmas present, and would like to do that.

On another note, and maybe I'm late to the party on this, I think it's rather unnecessary (even for PETA) to release a parody game of Pokemon, when Pokemon Black/White was already a parody of itself, but I suppose it's PETA so they can't be subtle (again, Black/White beat them to pounding a message with Pokemon needlessly and endlessly.)

Do dig the Trainer redesigns though (especially since Professor Juniper and Cheren both pretty much condone any and all super fucked up shit done to Pokemon BECAUSE IT'S OUR RIGHT and WE MUST TOLERATE.)

Also late to the party, Ville's Emerald Nuzlocke made me laugh my ass off, and I'm sad it's over.

I have to rant. I'll spoiler it.

First off...

FUCK WI-FI!!!!

Needed to be said.

I am fucking tired of these motherfucking wi-fi on this goddamn plane Pokemon game!*

Okay, so, I tried to use the Pokemon Global Link thingy in order to get the Gothic Lolita Pokemon promotion that they are currently running. Okay, so, I managed to get the Lolita pokemon transferred to my GL account, and all I need to do is use the Game Sync thingy plus the Dreamworld thingy in order to get it transferred from the limbo of the Internet and into my copy of White2. In order to do this, I need to use the C-Gear in-game.

BUT! Whenever I turn the C-Gear on in the game, the screen immediately turns blue and a message appears saying "Communication Error, please turn the game off."

WHAT THE FUCK

I've made sure that my DS is connected to the internet, I've made sure the internet itself is working... and still that goddamn blue screen of death.

Again, what the FUCK.

Also, the game works perfectly fine with the C-Gear turned OFF; it only fucks up when I turn it ON.

So, in order to see if this is a problem with my DS or the game card, I plugged in my copy of White (minus the 2). I turned on the C-Gear in that. The game didn't fuck up... until I pressed the game sync button on the c-gear, at which point the game not only froze, but also made it impossible to turn off my DS: When I hit the power button, the screen just went white, except the background music was still playing oddy enough. I kept pressing the power button, but nothing was happening: The screen remained blank.

Ultimately, I had to eject the game card, and that seemed to do the trick. Fortunately, none of my data was lost, and my DS didn't suffer any permanent damage. But it was a very small favor compared to the fact that now, not only is my copy of White2 unable to use Wi-Fi without throwing a fuckfest, but apparently neither can my copy of White.

I was so fucking pissed, I was sorely tempted to write Nintendo a very cross letter. Instead I put the DS away and looked up porn.

*I really could not resist using a Snakes on a Plane refereance.

At least your DS can access the Internet at all. For the record, my PSP can access the Internet pretty much regardless of security type. Because Sony likes making good consoles that work with stuff... even when they forget to make games for them.

I'll admit I like the look of X and Y, though I was surprised to see them actually call it X and Y. Seriously, I thought "They release Pokemon X and Y" was just a joke. "No-one cares, fill in the blanks, it's two versions of the same game as normal". Have they run out of colours?

I'll buy it when it comes out though.

It's probably Cartesian Coordinates, what with being the first 3d pokemon games.

But of course - Red, Blue/Green and Yellow; Gold, Silver and Crystal; Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald; Pearl, Diamond and Platinum. With the exception of 5Gen (which went Black and White then Black 2 and White 2) it's normal to have two, then a third one a bit later with greater differences than between the first two. And Z will probably be the one where you get Move Tutors.

It has been pretty short, but I think they want to show off what they can do on 3DS - they've already released a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for 3DS, and this is their "proper Pokemon game" foray into 3D.

over on dregchan, I mean 4chan, someone speculated that Nintendo basically begged Gamefreak to put out a 3DS pokemon game, since it hasn't sold very well.

Well, that makes sense: Nintendo practically lives and dies by Pokemon (and Smash Brothers) at this point. They have like four game franchises they endlessly use, and then a bunch of one-off things that may or may not be successful.

Well, it doesn't help that the actual biggest selling point of the 3DS, the fact that it's a smart device, is also the selling point of the DSi, which is roughly half the price. The 3D is a gimmick that quickly becomes either annoying, or played out, or so it seems. It also doesn't help that their actual target demographic, children, can't use the 3D without, at least, getting headaches.

I can't view 3D stuff full-stop, because one of my eyes is completely fucked. But I'm pretty sure the 3DS has greater processing power and such, which has to count for something.

I mean, not as good as the Vita, much like the DS couldn't compare to the PSP, but we don't expect Nintendo to ever meet Sony's level.

I don't need 3D, so I don't really see the point. I don't mean "it's an unnecessary luxury," I mean "when I was younger I practiced drawing perspective enough that I literally hardly notice a difference between 2D and 3D."
